Big A Photography: Videography
I enjoy photos a great deal, but I also enjoy displaying my work through videos. I frequently use my GoPro and my iPhone to capture first person point of view footage that creates a unique experience for each viewer! Although I'm not as proficient with videos compared to photos, I'm always willing to try new things and gain insight on how to improve my work!
NIFA SAFECON 2018 REGION III
NIFA is the National Intercollegiate Flying Association. It's comprised of 8 regions around the United States that feature different colleges and their flight competition teams. Each fall, each region holds a regional competition hosted by one of the schools in that particular region. The top 3 schools from each region make it to the national competition in the spring! In 2018, I had the honor to represent Bowling Green State University at the regional competition held at The Ohio State University! BGSU is a part of Region III, which is comprised of Western Michigan University, Kent State University, Ohio University, The Ohio State University and of course Bowling Green State University. The competition is held throughout the course of an entire week featuring two types of events; ground events and flying events. There are ground events to test an aviator's ability to recognize aircraft, accurately identify FAA regulations, and much more! There are flying events to challenge an aviator's ability to navigate a course, land the airplane in the shortest distance and much more!
Flight to Alabama
As a part of BGSU’s AERT 2810 Instrument 1 flight course, I went on a 1400 mile cross country flight from Wood County Regional Airport (1G0) in Bowling Green, OH to Jack Edwards National Airport (KJKA) in Gulf Shores, AL. We had one fuel stop at Lake Cumberland Regional Airport (KSME) in Somerset, KY. On the way down, I rode along in the backseat while my instructor and friend flew down, logging 8.1 hours. For the return legs home, my instructor and I logged 6.9 hours. We flew in one of our 2016 Piper Warriors, N282BG. Another one of our Warriors, N287BG, flew along with another instructor and 2 more students.
2018 Summer Flying
This is a compilation of videos shot with my GoPro Hero 4 from airliners and a Cessna 150. With my internship with CommutAir and my Administrative Assistant position at Wadsworth (3G3), I was able to get in plenty of flying. The airports visited in the video with the 150 are Wayne/Wooster County (BJJ), Akron/Canton Regional (CAK), and Wadsworth (3G3). Airports visited when flying with United were Cleveland Hopkins International (CLE), Chicago O’Hare International (ORD), Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International (CVG), Washington Dulles International (IAD), and Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA).

Overnight Trip
With my mom, I headed down to Orlando, FL for just the day on June 7th, 2017. However, due to the storms that can be seen in the video, we had to stay the night and fly back the following morning! Airports visited include Cleveland Hopkins International (CLE), Orlando International (MCO), and Charlotte Douglas International (CLT).
